Because America is a largely fluid society (as compared to other parts of the world) we tend to ignore and outright deny on occasion that the issue of class plays any significant role in our politics and culture...just like we try to ignore the issue of race or sexism for that matter. BTW--I've been gone from the computer, lunch date, meetings etc...Did Luc declare thread amnesty again? <ggg> I hardly recognize the place...<ggg>
