LG, It was just the JNPR warning that tanked the futures.
It was a bad one. I was actually recommending shorting it recently even while I was bullish on the Nasdaq. What will be interesting is to see how the market reacts to this warning that many believed was probable or possible. Lucent and Nortel were not roaring yesterday either even on an up day! A case of a bad sector...specifically, the carrier market.

If the market eventually goes the way the futures indicated afterhours yesterday, that will be an absolutely awesome indicator of the strength of the Nasdaq.

This is the way I would rather seeing instead of the fade into the strong opening. I would rather see a weak to neutral open.

I am convinced that the Nasdaq is going to have a good day on the Nasdaq. Actually, I think it will be a HUGE day.
The Intel update along with the semiconductor upgrade by Prudential is going to the be driving force today.

You can take that to the bank!
(i mean that is my humble opinion)<g>
