Repeaters are the mainstay of my portfolio (a portfolio for me is a hold up to 4 to 8 weeks but at this time of year I plan to hold about 10 weeks)... What we do is look for the best of the earners from the previous quarter (i.e. EXPE, TVLY, ULCM, VRSN, ULCM, TTWO, ROOM, SHFL, FDS, TRR, THQI... etc) and play them ON THE LONG SIDE for 3 months worth of swing trades close to the next quarter earnings. By the next quarter earnings (2nd quarter for late July), we hold off a week or so before earnings and usually find about 6 to 12 NEW EARNINGS PLAYS that might be in addition to the older ones. If there are ANY PROBLEMS say in SHFL or VRSN, they are deleted.
