It's the latter stage I avoid. IMHO Ascend has reached mindshare saturation and now has to do everything right to keep its valuation. I don't want to depend on even great management to do everything right. There are companies out there starting on growth paths like Ascend's. That's where the next big score is, not in an institutional favorite.
