Mark, Sorry I've not been responsive to you. I really do appreciate your input. I have found far less trouble over the past few days by simply not having anything "extra" going on in the background. If I open a charting program, I close it after its use. In the past, I'd leave it open. I also am receiving streaming quotes and I know that's a major drain on resources. I ran the service pack for win98 some time ago. I can't tell you if it made a difference, or not. I use both IE and Netscape as I receive e-mail at both locations. Probably that needs to be stopped as well. At any rate, things are better here, just not quite what I'd like them to be. Thanks again. I lurk here daily BTW. Ken
