Dave, the company admits quite frankly that digital broadcasting will more than likely come to market before satellite broadcasting. Digital broadcasting will be for free and will have local advertising just like today. CDRD needs to integrate many very risky elements to pull this off in a very short time frame. Hughes is no small fry either. The 10K report clearly states that Hughes has far more financial clout to invest in satellite broadcasting. Also, who's to say that additional licenses will not be granted. My question to you is this: Why invest now in this story stock with all the risks??? Why not wait until the risk is less and the stock price is more appealing??? Many companies in the development stage see their stock prices soar on hype and anticipation only to see them suffer a severe correction when reality sets in. I would strongly advise even the most aggressive investors to wait this one out.
