When it comes to selling calls, I make sure to use a very small % of my portfolio just in case something unexpected happens. Call buyers lose money on most of their plays, and make money on the occasional one (most of them anyways.) The reverse is true of skillful call sellers. Pros sell calls, amateurs buy them.
