What's IB?

IB = Interactive Brokers
interactivebrokers.com

I have never had an account with them, but you can check ou the IB thread here on SI for more information, #Subject-32122

There best feature, as far as I know, is that there commissions are on a per share basis, i.e. One cent per share, I believe, with a $1 minimum. This means that you can buy 200 shares of stock for only $2/trade... Not bad.

As Brandon was pointing out, this is a good type account to have for small share trading, or semi-paper trading...

Good luck,
-Eric
