Hi Bill,

Thank you for your work on this thread and others. I just stumbled upon this thread in the last two days. I have had that nervous pit in my stomach over the last couple of weeks over the stock market situation. This rebound from the recent correction was way too fast. I heard a financial commentator today say that this isn't investing, people are throwing money at stocks just cause there going up. People are just blindly handing the money over to the the mutual fund managers. (my comment: and demanding them to give them a 25%+ annual return- causing this feeding frenzy).

Is this the top? That's anyone's guess. It certainly has many signs. This could go on for a while. Goldilocks is here.

I wasn't in the stock market for 87'. Can anyone draw comparisons?

I was around for the California speculative real estate market of the mid 80's. I know a lot of people that bought in 89 that are still upside down in their houses 8 years later (those who could continue making the payments) - nobody saw that coming. A stock market crash will be much more severe. A least with a house you still have useful value.

What will bring this down? Probably some political event or Abby Cohen says sell all stocks now and Elaine Garzarelli says Dow 10000 by year end.

My question Bill is how are you allocating your assets? Are you long at all? or you completely betting against the trend and shorting this market?

I have been lightening my long positions over the last two weeks, but still am heavily long, but am planning to pair back further (hope it's not black) Monday.

Regards, Bob
