gao, Well this is a matter of personal choice for the women involved. I am a man and would never dream of telling a woman she cannot control her body.

Look what happened in Bosnia. The serbs captured moslem women and systematically raped them over a one month time period to ensure pregnancy and then they were not allowed abortions. The object being to destroy the moslem families as no moslem would take back a wife who carried anothers child or who hade been raped(very sexist, I agree). Also no moslem would marry a woman who had known another man even as a rape victim.
So these women were given abortions by the aid agencies and they were able to go home with no marks visible(the psyche is another matter) and they could then say there were lucky and did not get raped or impregnated.

Now the antiabortionists are like those serbs. They want to control womens wombs for religious or doctrinal purposes.

I am not with the antiabortionists. Women must have the freedom to decide that one by one in their own minds with no-one standing over them.

yet I would not want to abort any child of me and my wife and so far have not done so.

Early term abortions occur before those milk production changes have taken place. After about 6 moths when the breasts are starting ro grow, that is when these cancer problems occur.
So no abortions after3 months stops most of those cancer risks.
In addition, a birth has a far higher risk to the mother than the cancer risk is.
