Actually this thread was more aimed at those that are not day traders Joe.

Those that skim the message boards in the evening, put in an order for the next morning and check what happened at lunchtime or the following evening.

These are not daytraders, better classified as short term investors.

The main point was not to get caught up in the hype.

Of course the thread was created when the market was insane. I was trying to help people escape the insanity.

By purely dumb luck I called the top of the market last year on this thread. Being hospitalised for 3 days gave me time to really understand the insanity.

Nevertheless, there still remain several post that could be of interest to the part time trader.

Someone that wishes to be a daytrader can't possibly hope to get their info from a message board (other than learning materials)
