One of the primary styles I use in my trading is daytrading. Here are the rules I follow.

1) Plan The Trade, Trade the Plan.
2) Buy strong stocks, sell weak ones
3) Keep things simple. Dont rely on too many things, dont look at too many things.
4) Make sure that at the end of the day Toni is happier with me than my broker. Dont overtrade. Optimal trading for me is 3 to 7 round trips a day. Anything more and my broker tends to make more money than I do. This applies to me and my style. I know of a guy in Texas that prints over 3000 tickets a day, and makes more in a week than I have made yet. But, for me this would never work.
5)Be fearful of losers and hopeful with winners. Most traders are fearful when they should be hopeful and vice versa.
6)Dont listen to anyone else. Its my money and I have the final say.
7)Trade long in strong sectors, short in weak ones.
8)Be patient.
9)Dont watch the news. I know Bonnie Barron is hot, but its just distracting..both Bonnie and the news <G>
10) Its a job!

There are probably others but these are the ones I have written down.
