(OT) Susan. Same bird used to perch in my tree. At exactly midnight he'd start singing. First it was Barry Manilow tunes. Drove me nuts. Then he did an entire Wayne Newton medley. Wayne Newton! I called doc Kronkite for a crisis session. The doc patiently explained that the bird was simply pitching woo. "Pitching woo?" I asked. "Yes, the bird is singing in hopes of finding his lost mate who was obviously a Barry Manilow and Wayne Newton fan." "Doc, you're a genius!" I cried. "But what am I gonna do? The bird keeps me up all night. I'm developing a case of insomnia." Doc Kronkite pondered a bit, stroked his Freudian-like beard, looked through a thick book.
"Find a neighborhood kid with a bb-gun."
