Only those who know for sure need to reply :)
Scott Mc, no one knows for sure, but if someone where to tell you they do know, ask them to guarantee their word and you'll soon find out how sure they are ;0)
All I can offer are a few quick observations of my own, but you need to realize that BBD.b is a LTBH in my portfolios (and mattress) with avg. share price of C$20.53, was C$10.90 before I added more during late April... after it crossed the midrange of the BB. I began investing in Bombardier in early '99.
Since Mar 16, 2001: Higher lows (18.80, 20.75, 21.26) and Higher highs (22.90, 23.00, 24.65). It could break below 21.83, and it very well might need to fall to that level before an upturn.... buy high, sell higher if you plan to sell at all. You might want to wait to see if the 50MA successfully passes up through, and holds above, its 200MA which is sitting around the level you entered. stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyimy[dc][pd20,2!b50!b200!c50!f][vc60][iUb14!Ul13!Uh14,3!La12,26,9!Lk14!Ld20!Lc20!Lf]
P/E 29.82 (ttm at C$0.77), Beta .67 (well below 1.0)
Bombardier committed to grow EPS by 30-40% for fiscal 2001-2002, FY00 EPS was C$0.70 and said increases would equal an EPS of C$0.91-0.98 for FY01 at which point today's price creates a P/E of 23-25.
As a side comment you might want to take note of BBD.b's short positions. TSE does not provide up to date numbers, but you can look through previous figures. BBd.b as of May 15 had 37,929,736 shorts:
