Well said. If everytime an underage person presented a false ID to buy alcohol and 911 was called, then what would happen to the imminent emergencies? And imagine every underage drinker (or potential underage drinker using a false ID) being brought into court? I'd guess it's not a burden our courts could handle, and it might mean delaying justice for others.

Having said that, the Bush daughters must face a reality: They are being targeted. They can be sitting in a restaurant where 911 (or even a nonemergency number) has never been called for someone trying to pass a fake ID, but if THEY do it, then 911 will be called and THEY will be charged. They can be at a college party where lots of underage drinking is occurring, but if they take a single sip of alcohol, then it will be reported, and may lead to charges being brought against them and no one else. It's not fair; but I think it's THEIR reality...it's not the reality for the 99.99% of the others that do it: It's their reality because of those who disagree politically with their father.

Just my opinion, and they better get used to it.
