That's a good point Jack. The Chinese (no offense) are master copy cats of technology. It wouldn't be much for them to start floating home made SYQT disks around the country, bypassing SYQT altogether. What's SYQT going to do? Sue the Motherland? Sue their only State contract? Obviously, IOM, must have considered this fact and either (a) choose not to compete with SYQT for the Chinese business or (b) set prices too artifically high to purposefully lose the contract. Copied Zip disk floating equals LOST REVENUE. Go Syquest. Their are other scenarios which could also play out though positive toward SYQT even if the Chinese copied disks/technology - i.e., creative piracy tends to create "new" paradigms (a sociological matter - one for Dr. FIDO and his friends to answer).
