Optical Access Appoints Telecom Lucent-ex Sales Executive to Lead Worldwide Sales & Marketing Efforts; Establishes Worldwide Sales & Marketing Headquarters in Denver Area
DENVER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 2001--Optical Access Inc., a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of optical wireless access products, today announced that it has named James (Jim) P. Goodman, formerly a Lucent executive, as senior vice-president of worldwide sales and marketing.
The company also has established its headquarters for worldwide sales and marketing operations in the Denver area.

Goodman brings 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry having led sales and marketing efforts for Lucent Technologies, AT&T and, most recently, Aerie Networks. During his tenure with Lucent, Goodman created sales and marketing teams with responsibility for assisting new emerging telecommunications service providers to finance and build networks using Lucent's communications infrastructure equipment, software and services.
Prior to joining Optical Access, Goodman was vice president and general manager of asset sales at Aerie Networks, responsible for creating and building the sales organization.
