<There was a decision to switch gears and go after the notebook space several months after Mustang taped-out. From that point on, the Palomino slip was no more than a month. The decision to switch was in my view 100% brilliant. However, one could argue that AMD should have planned for mobile Palomino to be the first part from the start.> If in fact AMD thought of mobile segment only after P4 showed up, AMD management would be dumber than I can imagine.
