If you must justify and/or brag about what you do then if nobody can understand what you do, the mystery adds to the value! If everyone can understand it then yuor job is no longer very valuable But that is not the point; the point is that before you went to the interview you studied up on the company and the industry and did bot rely on ads. At least I assume you did or else HP hired you out of dewparation after interviewing your competition! Lets put this to rest as there are more important expenditures that stockholders should worry about such as some of the fantastic salaries and options being paid executives of companiis ith huge losses! Or the use of corporate funds to pay lobbies against the public interest or campaign financing without regard for the interests of the stockholders. Oh yes one more point about the advertising the trend is to advertise something but don't tell anyone what the product is or even who the company is! That is really a waste and does not accomplich what you suggest as the justification -- to tell the world aboot the company you are working for and explain what you do.
