I repeat, you are mistaken here. I don't print anything I like, or don't like for that matter. On the Week 18 roadmap, dated early May, there were quite clearly price moves and introductions slated for June and July.

Intel itself confirmed its 1.13GHz PIII and 1.2GHz PIII would be released in Q2. A January roadmap is so long back that's it hardly worth the pixels it's occupying.

Further, it's clear from the latest roadmaps I've seen that Intel is making decisions if not on the spur of the moment, then in reaction to market conditions - which to be fair to Intel, is what you would expect.

The week 14 roadmap does not show these speed grades of P4s, for example.

As for the instability of the Athlon that you mention, in fact I was reporting another person's comments. That's my job as well.
