glenn, a couple points re: ebay's policy... >>"eBay allows sellers to place the following types of links in your item's description: >>-One link to a page that further describes the item being sold in that listing.<< does this page have to be on ebay's server? if not, you could put a link on the dexcription page. >>-One link to your email address that opens an email client for potential bidders to ask questions about the item in that listing.<< i bet you could javascript a link to your site in the e-mail. >>-Links to photos of the item for sale.<< same as #1. link means link. i'd leave the text until i was warned that it was wrong. a reasonable person could conclude url text is not a link. seems this policy shows ebay's confidence that they can do what they want with no repercussions. i'm not sure they can.
