Oh, how wonderful! Yes, you saved many lives today. Those horrid people - so stupid, so thoughtless. It was fate that you were there at the right time.

One time at a skating competition in Colorado, I did the same. This poor cat was in severe distress in a hot van. I found the owner and chastised him. He did take the cat into the rink with him, looking angry. People like that are subhuman and deserve the same fate as their poor innocent victims.

You can sleep well tonight.
