Greg I agree with your answers. Their target customers telecommunications carriers and service providers. OA builds hardware namely LASER IR transponders & switches that fit into wireless last mile networks designed, implemented and serviced by others. I guess I wish they would state it that simply. Instead of:

" Optical Access is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of next-generation optical wireless solutions that facilitate a fundamental shift in access network design."

By the way Optical Crossings appears to compete with OA in the transponder area. That seems odd to me. Why would MRV support this arrangement?

1. <<Is Optical Access both an equipment provider and a service provider?>>
Equipment provider

2.<<Do they design and build the FSO networks?>>> NO.

3.. <<Do they provide the internet connection as a service?>> NO

4. <<Are they also an ISP?>> NO

5. <<Do they even sell directly to end use customers or do they sell only to FSO network integrators such as Davnet and Tellaire?>> They sell to companies like Davnet & Tellaire and not diredtly to the end user
