You stated;"I like high TRIN numbers, when associated with very negative tic, these forecast a coming reversal in a decline, but high trin in face of very positive tic, tells me: "Price follows volume", and the volume was down."
Is this indicator one of many you use interpreting your turnips? If so, how much emphasis do you credit trin/tic relationship against all other indicators . I understand no one can be totally accurate in predicting a markets outcome unless guided by "the big boys","insiders",...ect. There have been few traders with logical analysis and multiple indicators who had interpreted the market more accuratly moreoften than not. Being right more often than not using an equivalent dollar scenario for all bets would make for a very successful trader. I just hate when the "big boys" change the rules now and then; unleveling the playing field has the potential to wreck havoc with traders. My curriosity has me wondering the same here. A breach of 2050 on a closing basis would be construed negatively and yet I do not believe this market will not support 1950 there by creating some obscure reason for the Bulls to return.
