Gore Stole Kerry Seat at Moakley Funeral

It must be hard being Al Gore.
They say his weight has balooned as he has become the
invisible political man.
Now word is that he didn?t like the way he was treated -
and seated - at the June 1 funeral for the late Democratic
Congressman Joe Moakley.
Reportedly Gore took it upon himself to fix matters, to
the consternation of Moakley?s staff and family.
Moakley?s Boston funeral mass drew a huge VIP list,
including Pres. Bush and former President Bill Clinton.
According to staff sources, Gore rsvp?ed his attendance
and was slated to slit in row three, behind row one which
was reserved for Bush, Clinton, Senator Ted Kennedy,
Massachusetts Governor Jane Swift, Congressman David
Bonior and Massachusetts Senator John Kerry.
Gore was apparently miffed by the seat assignment and
ignored requests he sit in the third row, and took a front
row seat next to Clinton.
His placement robbed Senator Kerry of his front row seat,
forcing him to retreat to Gore?s third row place.
"Some noses got out of joint, and there was some stirring
when Gore suddenly showed up and took the seat,? a Moakley
aide is reported to have said. "But Kerry handled it well.
He just moved back.?
