Both of these guys are terrorists and both did terrible things. I don't want to seem to be an apologist for the Unibomber, but there is a considerable difference between the two. First, there's the order of magnitude of the death toll. Second, the Unibomber targeted individuals, universities, and airlines. McVeigh targeted The Government. I think those are two big differences. Attributing the difference in treatment to political wing seems more than a stretch to me. Karen
