Off topic.
I got a funny dog on the beach story, that took place about 15 years
ago b4 there were dog runs in my area. Having a dog on the beach
wasn't legal. The 1st offense was a $25 fine and it doubled for each
subsequent time you got caught. Since my dog loved the beach I
didn't care about the fines. We got caught once, I paid the $25.
We got again I paid the $50. The 3rd time we got caught I forgot to
pay the $100 but we did stop going to the beach. About 9 months
later I got pulled over for speeding. The cop ran my info then told
me there was a warrant out for my arrest. I said it had to be a
mistake. He said I committed an offense at a state park then
asked if I could've been caught with an open beer. At that point I
remembered about the 3rd dog ticket and told him. After chuckling
he told me he wasn't going to take me in but he was giving me an
appearance ticket and that if I didn't show I would be arrested.
Well I went to court, it wasn't traffic court it was "real" court.
The case before me was a guy accused of embezzling $2,000
from his boss. The DA announces my case by saying,

"Your Honor, we have a dog on the beach".

The whole court room burst out laughing uncontrollably. The judge
hit his gavel several time yelling "Order in the court, order in the court".
After the laughing subsided the charges were formally read and I plead
guilty. The judge was in such a hurry to dispose of me that he didn't
notice it was a 3rd offense and only fined me $25.

Have a good night, SfkaJB
