. Meanwhile, you could be making good returns in other areas of the market. Mike, I expect to make very good returns right here in the semi-group. Even if these stocks base for a few years as you suggest (your theory is as good as anyones else's on this board), it is the volatility that makes the whole system of covered call writing worth while. NVLS and AMAT will swing three times a month between 45 and 55. What other areas of the market might you suggest? The only two I can think of would be defense companies building the star wars thing and oil drillers with permits to drill in Alaska.Oh Yeah and electronic voting machine manufacturers.
