i think i'm finally going to spring for the Linksys BEFSR41 - EtherFast 4-Port Cable/DSL Router linksys.com

i know you have been talking about yours for ages. some of us take a little longer to catch on. <g3>

the $99 price looks good (at staples) and i can get one of their Linksys Ethernet Network EtherFast 10/100 LAN Adapter Cards for $10 (after rebate). i already have all the nics i need, but they are all the same manufacturer (CNet), and i think i may do better not putting two identical cards in the same machine. i have read a thing or two about difficulties when doing this.
