phil re, "I am using the "Linky" and I love it" i think i'm finally going to spring for the Linksys BEFSR41 - EtherFast 4-Port Cable/DSL Router linksys.com i know you have been talking about yours for ages. some of us take a little longer to catch on. <g3> the $99 price looks good (at staples) and i can get one of their Linksys Ethernet Network EtherFast 10/100 LAN Adapter Cards for $10 (after rebate). i already have all the nics i need, but they are all the same manufacturer (CNet), and i think i may do better not putting two identical cards in the same machine. i have read a thing or two about difficulties when doing this. here are the staples links for the nic and the router, with rebate links... staples.com staples.com just thought i'd say hey and let you know that your posting on the subject finally did sink in. :) mark
