Jim, "the infrastructure for AMD has and will take a quantum leap in the next 3 months."

With all due respect Jim, what makes you think this
way? Just curious. It seems pretty apparent that
it was the infrastructure that failed to establish the
due success of Athlon core in the x86 market.
Starting with the 750-Irongate delay, then 750
boards recall and re-work, then failure to move on time
into 133MHz space, chipset-slotA-socketA incompatibilities,
recent 266-FSB-DDR chipset "instabilities", 2-year
delay in dual-processor platforms, etc.
Why do you think the things will change? Did you hear of
any "resignations" in platform management team
(who planned and executed all those "victories"), or
what?

Sorry to say all this,
- Ali
