<< Are we agreed on the other points?>>

No

<<Perhaps is incumbent upon all parties in the discussion to review the fundamental underlying issues and draw from them a conclusion. >>

But my point was that the underlying issues have always been the same at Bear Mkt bottoms. Not that the opinions were always thus so they must be wrong. Why does the fact that we have lower earnings [ as we always do at bottoms ]indicate the market will decline? The market predicts the future . It does not reflect the present. Why is it that because we have a trade deficit [ as we have had for years ]that means the market will go down? Why does the FED pumping money into the economy [ as they always do at or near Bear market bottoms ] mean the market will go down? These are all issues I see at bottoms and they haven't turned any of the past bears into collapses. Why is it different this time?

When I say I trade because it is easier I mean because I can make it work!....Investing??? Means projecting too far out into the future.Impossible for me .Fundamentals and fortunes change. I haven't a clue.

Right now I have a small stock SRK. I have held it for about 4 months and am gonna try for long term capitol gains. But I never miss a trade and if I see something I don't like on the tape out it goes.
