In response to a posting on Mongolia Gold's thread:
To Vaughn
TDC has a number of properties in the NWT including:
1. Russell Lake (JV with Fortune Minerals, located in the Slave Province)
2. Longtom (JV with Alberta Star Mining Corp, located in the Great Bear Magmatic Zone)
3. Terra (owns 50% of private company which owns 100% of the mineral claims, located in the Great Bear Magmatic Zone)
Plus other "under review" projects.
The Alberta Star news release relates only to the Longtom Property. The GBMZ has reported silver, radium, uranium, copper production, plus Fortune Minerals Limited's cobalt-bismuth-gold Nico Project which is in the pre-development stage.
The recognition of FT's Nico project (including Sue Dianne),
and TDC + ASC's Longtom Project (plus others) as "Olympic
Dam" type deposits brought the interest of many junior
companies, and some major mining companies.
The expected promotional push never came, and most juniors
moved on to dot coms or elsewhere.

Recently, a number of majors...

I just put the following post up on rec.collecting.coins.....

P.S. Still working on my Nanavut project.

I have indentified almost 20 projects north of Yellowknife
that would greatly benefit, might even become economic,
with infrastructure like a road and port at Bathurst.

I'll probably put something up on the Gold & Silver Stocks
discussion group.
