The June issue of Fiber Systems magazine contains a article entitled Free-Space Lasers Light Urban Broadband Links. The article, however, is not a general article on FSO as much as it is an article on fSONA, "a Canadian start-up that specializes in urban optical wireless for the 'last mile' of the network.

My take from the article is fSONA has a ways to go to be a major player in the FSO arena.
