Both you and gold_tutor are correct. RIGHT NOW if I were to sell my egold and get the cash I would not have to report any capital gains as egold currently is not required to report these transactions to the FED on a 1099. However this could change overnight when the FED plugs the hole....and they will eventually plug it. Enjoy it while you can. wayne
