The Reuters story was positive from the standpoint that Kraft has real products, No. 1 market position in dozens of categories and makes money _ quite a bit of money, when compared with startup whatever companies that don't even have a business plan yet. If you're concerned about recession _ you say you like the defensive aspects of the stock _ then my suggestion would be to watch how it trades so you can get a feel for what a good entry point might be. A few more days like today and Friday and "defense" might be in vogue again, at least until the economy can find some firmer ground. All just my amateur opinion, and all the usual disclaimers apply. PB
