Not just in practice, but also legally, one can have two
parents, sometimes even more.

The most important words were, IMO, that "advantage of
international footprint", without even considering if
verizon should or shouldn't take advantage of it.

So maybe it is more realistic to put the evil pin on
"international footprints" although that demands
handling more factors than one person.
