I look at volume trends closely. The light volume move up suggested that we might (and we did) put in a lower high on the chart and that is not a good sign technically. Thus I will wait for this to settle before reentry. I think of volume as supply and demand. When volume is lighter on an upmove versus the downside then I look at it unfavorably. Likewise when a stock moves up on heavy volume and pulls back on light volume I remain favorably disposed towards the shares.
