I live near San Francisco- I had to go into the city to see it. Not everyone likes movies well enough to hunt them down. Berkeley is another good place to see out of the mainstream films. I am lucky to have such places close by. And my Blockbuster does an incredible job buying indie films. I LOVE my Blockbuster- and they love me too- for all the money I spend there.
