Low volume on decline often leads to "Chinese Torture", the market drips down very slowly. When the volume increases on decline, a climax "may" be closer. The more important thing is to see increase volume on counter trend rallies", which we did not see. As for the credibility of the sales pressure, just look at the trin, the Naz trin stayed above 2.5 even during the last two hours mini rally. More important, we still had that divergence between trin and tic on the NYSE, where TRIN was well above 1.2 despite bouts of positive tic on the NYSE. Namely, more volume in declining stock than in rising stocks. I would say that selling is quite credible, and probably not over.
