Larry,

A close (but small) competitor is Displaytech (www.displaytech.com) where the pixel elements appear to be FLC (ferrous LC?) molecules that rotate on polarization, with the same reflective type display as the DMD. As the Displaytech people state, the power required to reflect light of their display is much less than the power required to transmit light through an LCD. By the way, how stable is TI to work for?
