AMD went from 17% to 21% from Q4, 2000 to Q1 2001. The only way they could have done that was because the number of units thaT Intel shipped actually fell. If the demand for CPUs increases at a greater rate than AMD ramps production, then AMD's market share will drop. So I wouldn't be surprised if AMD's market share will drop some when the market recovers. We will see if AMD sells more than 7.3 million units this quarter.
