Mike,
Familiar with LC. Back in the late 80's I saw a confidential
display that knocked my socks off. I had been connected to the chip
design so was privy to the end results. Super t.v. 3-d like I couldn't
believe. I wore glasses that switched between left eye and right eye
in sync with a monitor switching between 2 displayed locations. The
demo was traveling thru space similar to a star trec opener. Awesome.
With digital T.V., it will follow soon. Thanks for the company tip.
I've always wondered where the technology would surface. Can't
disclose the company with the demo, but they sure wouldn't come to
mind. In deep water today!
T.I. was a decent company to work for. They're big on employee
retainment. I stayed 27 years before early retirement. I enjoyed several
careers within the company as they're big on moving to different
sectors for broader knowledge base. The biggest drawback is they
push the young looking for future managers. By 40, your career is
locked unless you've achieved department level or above. At 55
it's best to consider retirement. I did. They don't toss you out but
you find yourself not involved with leading edge products.
Regards, Larry
