just ordered a 1.4 athlon with 256 ddr ram this weekend. and windows 2000. pc world mag. came today and athlon's with windows 2000 seem to test so much better than intel's pent. 4. most of the power computers in this months pc world have athlon 133 processor. intc still controls the laptop market in pc mag. guess that is why laptops are still so expensive. my question is, when will amd make a competitive laptop computer chip. (price, quality and performance.) just like the desktop athlon. amd just released a multiprocessor board and this should help the power computer user. anandtech.com
