SB, It all depends on the level of democracy in it. If the society is a dictatorship and people are trapped and cannot change the system, then I am critical. If thepeople chooseto do what they do....what can I say. There are so many variables that it is hard to make a blanket statement.
Some religious societies are very intrusive, others are not. some can co-exist with other religious societies within the same state, others cannot.
