obtuse? I need my Thesaurus to handle that one. <g> Seriously, my point is that Nortel has many leading edge products. They have an excellent optical transport platform which needs to be upgraded with state of the art optical switching. They will accomplish that with OPTera Connect HDX and OPTera PX. In the meanwhile, they are the leader in optical ethernet. They are #1 in WAN multiservice switches. Their Passport switches are state of the art.
