ALL:

I am awe struck watching the reflexive thinking process take shape. The inability of market participants to filter out their prevailing bias is extrodinary and fun to watch. Participants can look upon a puzzle with 99% negative and 1% postive and still come out with 1% positive. I quess this is the human minds inability to shut off its cognitive filtering mechanism. Interesting

O.K. Good point. But next time you get a chance, superimpose a 1.44 floppy over a Zip disk. This is the problem with the 15mm drive. Notebooks in their current form have a difficult time incoporating the larger Zip format. This assumption is reinforced with Iomega's need to receive CNF's help. CNF is probably buidling the add-on docking station or other add-on mechanism so a Notebook can handle the 15mm.

This problem was mentioned before that the 15mm was just to big. Iomega reinforced this notion by a press release stating that they would also come out with a 12.7 that could be used in *ALL* Notebook configurations. Which insinuates that the 15mm can not. Thus the product delay.

You didn't comment on why Matshushita has not begun to produce Zips.
What are they waiting for? Demand?

Good to talk with you
