Like what I'm hearing from you because I'm long Repap, but a couple of questions:

1. How are you coming by this information ? Are you an insider, or are you an analyst that has early access to this type of info ?

2. Why isn't the market reacting more strongly if what you're saying is true ?

3. Does this mean that Repap is prepared to forget about a merger/takeover scenario and go it alone ? If so will the Td Bank play along ? What does Repap propose for the $150 million in convertible debentures maturing on Aug 1 ?

Speaking of the convertibles, they're presently trading at about $55.00 (face value $100.00). A hell of deal if Repap is in fact solvent.

I'm tempted to take a position, but the market action of late doesn't seem to reflect what you're saying. Maybe the big payers simply have no confidence in Petty.
