At the bottom of the page is a chart that looks almost exactly like one I posted yesterday. Sure- they posted it 12 days ago... I'm willing to admit I'm slow. <g>

Consumer Credit (April) — Household debt is at a record high, but debt service burdens have remained manageable (and consumer borrowing rates have fallen as the Fed has cut short-term rates). Debt may become a bigger issue if labor market conditions continue to deteriorate.
