Some problems
are systemic and seemingly intractable, but surely we're not at the point of treason.

Depends what you think our country should be like.'

If you cherish freedom and the right to do what you like with your life in the privacy of your home as long as you aren't hurting anybody else, we're way past that point, and going the wrong direction.

If you are a small d democrat who believes that the people should run the government and that government should be responsive to the people, we're way past that point and going the wrong direction.

If you think being rich and comfortable is more important than individual liberty and citizen control of government, we're far from that point.

BTW, I haven't even mentioned the child welfare police in my litany of government intrusions on liberty, but when you look at the Buckleys in California, the Wenatchee "child abuse" trials, and others, whew! The government forces have, "legally" (that us, using the instruments of the law) completely destroyed totally innocent people.

I have to get back to work and leave this rampage for a while. But I shall return!

A Nation of Sheep.

Who will issue the wake-up call?
