oh, c'mon....you couldn't find enough cheeze in the entire state of wisconsin for the amount whine coming from that article. the bi-line, alone, deserves most of the cheddar from vermont! it's "robbery". "why can't we stop it?" it's everyone else's fault, from ceo's boards, consultants, yes...even the feds! why me....? why me....? whyyyyyyy meeeeee.....? ooooooops....whyyyy nooooooot meeeee? Executive compensation has become highway robbery--we all know that. But how did it happen? And why can't we stop it? The answers lie in the perverse interaction of CEOs, boards, consultants, even the feds.
